Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

HP office jet 6968 will not shut down properly. I have tried all online suggestions => Unplug, drain, etc but with no luck. Started when replacing printing cartridge. Went through all online trouble shooting that I could find, however nothing worked. Are there a way to make some kind of forced proper shutdown procedure available? - Additionally, I am getting all kind of fictive errors paper jam etc. Any suggestions would be appreciated .

Welcome to the HP support community.

 

I understand that your printer is not shutting down, I am glad to assist you.

You might have to perform a semifull reset on the printer to fix this issue.

I am sending you a private message with the steps to reset the printer. Please check the mailbox icon at the top-right corner of this screen.
