We have purchased 50 units of HP LaserJet Pro 3004dw printers from China for our official use. Currently, these printers are being operated in Mexico. However, we are unable to use the locally available toner cartridges, as the printers are region-locked to the Asia region. Unfortunately, the compatible toner (146A/146X) is not available in Mexico.

To resolve this, we kindly request your support in performing a regionalisation reset for our printers so that they can accept the toners available in the Mexico region.

@imtiaz89, Welcome to HP Support Community!  

 

We need to perform a regional reset on the printer to resolve this issue.  

 

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.  

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.  

 

In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on thislink.
