bought HP expensive home printer 8030. Printed 17 color pages and died. spent a year with support trying to resolve. After 7 hours on the phone I finally got them to send more instant ink cartridges (I am still a member but will cancel in 5 days). After sending 3 instant ink cartridges still did not work. Asked for a replacement printer. Told me no, because more cartridges must come and that must be the problem. Now it is 20 days past warranty and HP will replace if I give another $50 for extended warranty (I will also lose my year of instant ink as replacement will not come with cartridges so I am out even more. I think I am done with HP products for good. [content removed]. The resolution was simple, they just needed to send the replacement printer when it was under warranty since I asked in the first place and even support knew that this would resolve. I can now only print BW and scan. For color I must go to fedex or office max or a friend with working printer if I want color. Worst customer service ever BEWARE. [content removed]. If this can be resolved as one last attempt I would consider staying as a customer else, I need to throw in the towl.
