Let’s get your HP 2755e back on Wi-Fi so you can print those forms.
Step-by-Step Wireless Reconfiguration for HP 2755e on macOS 13.7.4
1. Reset the Printer’s Network Settings
- On the HP 2755e, press and hold the Wireless button and the Cancel button for 5 seconds.
- The Wi-Fi light should start blinking, indicating the printer is ready for setup.
2. Restart Your Router
- Power off your Wi-Fi router for 30 seconds, then turn it back on.
- Ensure your Mac and printer are connected to the same 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network (Your printers does not work with 5GHz network).
3. Reconnect the Printer to Wi-Fi
- Open the HP Smart app on your Mac (download it from the HP website).
- Click Add Printer and select Set Up a New Printer.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the printer to your Wi-Fi.
4. Verify Connection on macOS
- Go to System Settings > Printers & Scanners.
- Click Add Printer, and your HP 2755e should appear.
- Select it and click Add.
5. Test the Printer
- Print a test page to confirm the connection.
- If issues persist, try resetting the printing system:
- Go to System Settings > Printers & Scanners.
- Right-click in the printer list and select Reset Printing System.
