I hear you—nothing is more frustrating than a printer that refuses to cooperate!

Let’s get your HP 2755e back on Wi-Fi so you can print those forms.

Step-by-Step Wireless Reconfiguration for HP 2755e on macOS 13.7.4

1. Reset the Printer’s Network Settings

  • On the HP 2755e, press and hold the Wireless button and the Cancel button for 5 seconds.
  • The Wi-Fi light should start blinking, indicating the printer is ready for setup.

2. Restart Your Router

  • Power off your Wi-Fi router for 30 seconds, then turn it back on.
  • Ensure your Mac and printer are connected to the same 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network (Your printers does not work with 5GHz network).

3. Reconnect the Printer to Wi-Fi

  • Open the HP Smart app on your Mac (download it from the HP website).
  • Click Add Printer and select Set Up a New Printer.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the printer to your Wi-Fi.

4. Verify Connection on macOS

  • Go to System Settings > Printers & Scanners.
  • Click Add Printer, and your HP 2755e should appear.
  • Select it and click Add.

5. Test the Printer

  • Print a test page to confirm the connection.
  • If issues persist, try resetting the printing system:
    • Go to System Settings > Printers & Scanners.
    • Right-click in the printer list and select Reset Printing System.
