I have lost the username and password for the Embedded Web Server (EWS) for my DeskJet 3755. Everything on the EWS is currently locked and requires being logged in to change (this includes Restore Factory Defaults and Restore Network Settings).
I have tried restoring network settings (by holding the wireless button and the cancel button), but this has done nothing to unlock the Embedded Web Server. There is no "admin" username with a blank password. I have also tried other combinations including "ADMIN" and "BLANK", "admin" and "blank" and from what I understand - all interpretations of that phrase.
When I try to use the easy start to set up a connection it asks me for my username and password and thus isn't a useful way forward.
Also, I have already read the following posts

And a few others.

Thank you for posting on HP Support Community.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue:
- Power on the printer, wait until the printer display comes on.
- Hold the power button and the cancel button together for 5 seconds.
- Release the cancel button first, and then release the power button.
- The printer will print a status report.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
