Product: HP OfficeJet 5745 e-All-in-One Printer

I want to print a 5x7 photo.  Photo tray takes only 4x6 paper (why????).  I empty the 4x6 tray and place a stack of 5x7 paper in the "regular paper" tray,  I tell the printer that there is 5x7 photo paper in that tray.  When I click 'print' on my software the printer tells me to load paper in the photo paper tray.  ???????
