Error code 62.80.13 signifies a connectivity issue typically occurring due to default router settings, particularly when using HP printers with CenturyLink C4000 modem/routers. Below are steps to troubleshoot and resolve this specific issue.
Solution Steps:
On Printer Control Panel:
- Press the Wireless network icon usually found in the gray menu bar at the top of the screen.
- You will see a warning indicating that the printer isn't connected to any wireless networks. Touch Yes to continue.
- The printer will show a list of Wireless networks it can find. If the CenturyLink C4000 is not displayed, touch Enter New Network Name.
- Enter the Wireless Network SSID found on the bottom of the CenturyLink C4000 modem into the Enter New Network Name screen.
- The printer will search for the entered network. If it returns with an error that the network was not found, touch Continue.
