HP OfficeJet Pro 9015e All-in-One Printer

I am unable to print from my laptop (another HP product). I've done all the troubleshooting I can think of and I have found online. I can print from my phone and other devices but not my laptop.

Hi @Bliss335

Welcome to the HP support community.

I understand you're experiencing an issue with your HP device, and I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. I'm here to help you today.

If you can print from your phone and other devices but not from your laptop to your HP OfficeJet Pro 9015e, here are several steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:

Check Printer Status:

  • Ensure the printer is online and not in a sleep or error state. You can do this from the printer’s control panel.

Restart Your Devices:

  • Restart both your printer and your laptop. Sometimes a fresh start can resolve connectivity issues.

Check Wi-Fi Connection:

  • Make sure your laptop is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your printer. Sometimes, laptops can accidentally connect to a different network.

Update Printer Drivers:

  • Go to the HP support website and download the latest drivers for the OfficeJet Pro 9015e. Install the updated drivers on your laptop.

Remove and Re-add the Printer:

  • On your laptop, go to Settings > Devices > Printers & scanners.
  • Remove the OfficeJet Pro 9015e from the list and then click Add a printer or scanner to add it back.

Run the Windows Printer Troubleshooter:

  • Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooters.
  • Select Printer and run the troubleshooter. Follow the prompts to identify and fix issues.

Check Firewall and Security Software:

  • Sometimes, firewall or security software can block communication between your laptop and the printer. Temporarily disable them to see if that resolves the issue.

Check Print Queue:

  • Open the print queue by going to Devices and Printers, right-click on your printer, and select See what’s printing. Clear any stuck print jobs.

Check Default Printer Settings:

  • Ensure that the OfficeJet Pro 9015e is set as your default printer in the printer settings.

Test Printing from Different Applications:

  • Try printing from various applications (e.g., Word, PDF reader) to see if the issue is application-specific.

I hope this helps! Keep me posted.
