Thought I had this thing installed correctly, then when I tried to setup a wireless connection it all went downhill.

Now I cannot even communicate with the printer. 

When I turn it on, the power button blinks and the control panel led display is "HP".  no error numbers, just HP.

None of HP diag software works because it cannot communicate.

HOw can I reset to factory settings?  Or at least get this thing to communicate.

Thank You for this reply. I ended up returning the printer for a replacement and ever I’d working as it should. 
I will keep your instructions for a possible future troubleshooting. Just wish this information was documented a little better. I tried wory with HP troubleshoot support and this never even came up. 
 But again, Thank You
