Hi! I’ve followed the instructions for a printer stuck in the loading page to no avail. How do I hard reset the whole thing? Thank you!

I have the same problem. A lot of folks have the same problem. And a lot of replies from what appears to be support are of the same theme - unplug and wait for 60 seconds to 4 minutes and press and hold power button for 15 seconds to 30. All the same advise none of which worked. NVRAM reset would need to be resent in private. go figure. and when one tries to look for a contact number(for an out of warranty product such as mine), you are thrown to a page(if one can easily get to that page) which you are to pay for support. if this problem of mine doesn't get support, I am so done with HP. so frustrating for a machine which is just for home use ie not used heavily.

Hi @Dexb,

Welcome to the HP Support Community

I understand you are facing an issue with your HP Printer. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.

We have to perform a Semi Full Reset to unlock the features of the printer/Reset the password.

The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.

I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instruction to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.

In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Community profile, next to your profile Name or simply click on this link.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
