Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi Just finished setting up HP DeskJet 3755. Printed out a test page and alignment page. I cannot get it to print out any other page from my computer.

Running windows 10, 64 bit, set up with a USB

I don't know if these locked is the problem, it is going to the printer but then up comes "error state"

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, JaceDSC00058.JPGDSC00059.JPG

Hello @Jace754 .
• Click START> Run> in the RUN box, type CMD, and press the Enter key, which would open a Command Prompt window
• In the Command Prompt window, type the NET STOP SPOOLER command and then press the ENTER key.
• In the same box, type NET START SPOOLER and then press the ENTER key.

To enable the Print Spooler service:
1. Click on the Start menu.
2. In the search box, type services.msc and press Enter on the keyboard.
3. Look in the list of services for print spooler.
4. Make sure it is Started and set to Automatic.

Other options:

  1. Run HPPSdr.exe from the download location on your computer.
  2. Once HP Print and Scan Doctor is open, click Start, and then choose your printer.
    • If your printer is not listed, turn it on and click Retry.
    • If there is a connection problem, follow the instructions in the tool.
  3. If a screen displays prompting to turn on printer updates, click Yes and continue.
  4. If a screen displays prompting to make your printer the default printer, click Yes and continue.

  1. Run HPPSdr.exe from the download location on your computer.
  2. Once HP Print and Scan Doctor is open, click Start, and then choose your printer.
    • If your printer is not listed, turn it on and click Retry.
    • If there is a connection problem, follow the instructions in the tool.
  3. Click Fix Printing.

Thank you Gold Master. Merry Christmas!

One question, do I do this with the printer off or on?

Going to try and follow directions, you are talking to a senior that is no techy at all.

OMGosh, it worked. Thank you so much Gold Master. Took me a bit as it kept telling me access denied but figured out how to bypass that. Again, many thanks, Merry Christmas and a very Blessed New Year.

I was so relieved to find this thread. My problem is that when I typed in the CMD I got an access denied and could go no further...I could not get around it.

I used to have a Canon pixma and it was a piece of cake to run but eventually died. I have spent endless hours trying to set this printer up to my HP laptop, Windows 10, 64 bit, but it goes nowhere, either for usb connection or for wireless. I have a thread going with HP tech but they continue to tell me to uninstall and reinstall, which I have numerous times. It is fairly useless. I downloaded and installed the new webpack, but I am at a loss. So much time has been spent and I've gotten nowhere.

Any help would be appreciated.

I have the same problem. I have gone through all these solutions, and none help. The internal test page prints, but there seems to be no communication between the computer and the printer, no matter what I do. The HP print doctor tells me it's stumped. I've been working to install this printer for over four hours now. This is ridiculous.

I set up the computer wirelessly. The computer sees the printer. It signifies that it is the default printer. I stopped and restrted the spooler. I set the spooler to automatic. When prompted to install updates, I keep getting sent to download and install the HP Smart app, which I did to begin with. I'm on the verge of boxing this printer up and returning it.

The program once told me to insert the CD that came with the computer. No CD came with the computer. Any advice that works will be welcome.
