Hi @Kelvy

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

The blinking Information button light on your HP DeskJet 4155e usually indicates that the printer needs attention or there’s an issue that requires resolution.

Here’s how you can troubleshoot:

Step 1: Print an Information Page

  1. Press and hold the Information button (the one with the "i" icon) for a few seconds.
  2. The printer will print an information page that may provide details about the issue.

Step 2: Check for Common Issues

  1. Paper Jam:
    • Open the printer and check for any paper jams or obstructions.
    • Remove any stuck paper carefully.
  2. Ink Cartridge:
    • Ensure the ink cartridges are properly installed.
    • Check if the ink levels are sufficient and replace cartridges if needed.
  3. Wi-Fi Connection:
    • If the printer is not connected to Wi-Fi, the light may blink. Reconnect it using the Wireless button or the HP Smart app.

Step 3: Reset the Printer

  1. Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  2. Wait for 2–3 minutes.
  3. Plug it back in and turn it on to reset the system.

Step 4: Update Firmware

  1. Visit the HP Support website and download the latest firmware for your printer model. Update the firmware on an HP printer | HP® Support
  2. Install the firmware update and restart the printer.

Step 5: Use the HP Smart App

  1. Open the HP Smart App on your computer or mobile device.
  2. Check for any error messages or notifications in the app.
  3. Follow the app’s troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue.
