Hi Folks,
We use an HP Envy 4500 for our business, printing invoices, packing slips, etc., from our website's administration urls. Whenever we print, the page shows the url we printed from at the top, which looks unprofessional and could pose a security risk. It also shows the number of pages we're printing in the batch, which we'd like to turn off as well.
I can't find a setting anywhere for this, nor any answers online. I hope someone can help... This is the best printer we've ever had, other than this one frustrating issue. Thanks.

If you are printing from your browser, set the "headers and footers" print option to OFF.
In many cases, the setting is simply a toggle - click to switch on and click again to switch off.
Chrome > Print > More Settings
Example
Print_Preview_Chrome_More_Settings_1

Thank you! We use Firefox, but you gave me the right terminology to be able to search for a solution in that browser. A search on "turn off headers and footers in Firefox" brought up this article, in case anyone else finds themselves in this situation while using Firefox:

Thanks for the help! Much appreciated. It has been maddening for three years, and now it's solved!

You are welcome.
Yes, I use Firefox, too. The Chrome image was the first example I came across in my collection. Yes, the terminology is the same (or at least similar) in most of the browsers. Smiling.
Glad this is better now. It is the little stuff that can drive us nuts!
