Envy 4500
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

What has happened to the Instant Ink website? I log in to my HP Activated account and I see a button which says "Manage Instant Ink", but when I click on it  the website opens a page to register a new printer. I don't want to register a new printer, just see the page usage for my existing one.

I still can't get my Envy 4500 to complete printing a full document when connected by wireless. HP support just gets worse and worse.

@styxlawyer,

Thanks for engaging in HP support Forums! I see from your post that you are having issues related to HP Instant ink account. No worries, I'll be glad to assist you.

To provide you with an accurate solution, I'll need a few more details:

Have you checked if the printer is online and if it's enrolled? Most likely there seems to be an issue with the connection.

Have you tried to update the printer?

What happens when you try to print? Do you get any error message? Are you able to make a copy from the printer?

In the meantime, while you respond to this post, let's try these steps here:

Perform a Hard reset on the printer, router, computer and other devices which are on the same network.

Turn off all the devices connected on your network including the PC, Smartphones, printer, modem (if present) and router. Make sure all the devices in the network are turned off / unplugged.

Wait for 2-3 minutes.

Now turn on the modem if present. Wait till all the lights are steady and idle.

Then turn on the router. Again wait for a couple of minutes so that the lights are all steady.

Then turn on the printer and other devices.

If the printer is online and if it's enrolled, then I would suggest here is to update the printer.

In order to update the printer, On the printer control panel - Setup - Printer Maintenance - Update the printer.

Once done, restart the printer and then check.

Let’s first try and make a “photocopy” to determine whether the issue is with the printer or not. Place a document on the scanner glass and choose “Copy” option. If the printer is making a good copy, then the printer hardware is fine.

In the meantime, Since the instant ink account details are confidential, please send me the required information via private message.

Hi Jeet,

Yes, I have already done all of those things. The Instant Ink website appears to know that I already have a printer registered as it displays the email address on the top level page, but when I click on the "Manage Subscription" button the next page asks me to register a new printer.

I have sent you links to screendumps in a PM.
