Is there a memory cache on my HP Officejet Pro 8620? I don't want everything I've ever printed to remain in a memory cache that someone else might be able to access. I have cleared the fax log, but am concerned about the rest. I only use my computer at home.

There is no internal memory in the Officejet Pro 8620 that would keep a print job after power is removed. You have already cleared the fax log. Also make sure there are no memory cards inserted in the front. If you had the printer connected wirelessly you may want to erase the password information (put in dummy router name and password).

I do wish they would put this information in the user manuals, it seems this question comes up with some regularity. As it turns out, there are very few HP consumer models that have internal memory - none of the Officejet, Deskjet, or Envy models have internal storage. Only a few of the Photosmart models (such as the Photosmart 475) have internal hard drives to store photo's.
