How do I connect a wirless printer to a wired PC?

How do I connect a wireless printer to a wired PC? I have used all of the diagnostic tools, no luck.  Please help.

Does the 8610 have a valid IP, you can find it on the 8610 network test report.

When I hit the internet button on the printer, it gives me a IP address. When I enter the IP address in the HP Print Doctor app, it can not connect. It keeps saying "make sure that the printer and computer are on the same network". My PC is hard wired to the router, the printer is connect by WIFI. Does that make sense?. The PC will not recognize the printer.

Is the printer IP & the computer IP in the same address range.

My pc is   96.255.xxx.xxx

My printer is   192.168.xx.xxx

Your PC has a IP that is not one of the 3 private classes.

What does that mean? Are you saying that my HP printer is not compatible with my HP PC? Surely there has to be a way to print from the PC to the printer?

Yes, this is my home computer, and my home printer. They are an HP Pavilion desktop computer and an HP printer, Officejet Pro 8610. I just want to print from my home computer to my home printer. The printer will print if I connect it by using a cable, but I want to connect wirelessly. I can print from my phone, but not print from my PC. The printer is connected to my home WIFI. The printer also has its own WIFI. How do I connect the printer wirlessly to the PC so I can print from the PC?
