How can I turn off ink notifications so they will not pop up in Windows 10?
I've googled this and found several instructions that do not work. I have an OfficeJet 6700 that I'm ready to uninstall for this issue.

Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Please follow the steps below to disable the pop-ups:
- Press and hold the Windows Key, then press “R” to bring up the Windows Run dialog box.
- Type “printmanagement.msc“, then press “Enter“.
- Expand “Printer Servers“, then right click the name of the computer and select “Printer Server Properties“.
- Select the “Advanced” tab.
- Uncheck “Show Informational Notifications for Local Printers” and “Show Informational Notifications for Network Printers“.
Let me know if this helps.

Thanks for your response. I tried this solution before posting my question, and it did not affect the popup messages. I've since removed the printer from the control panel (yesterday). Today, I discovered that my startup group as two programs installed in my startup group that both have in their titles the notion that they are for alerting me to ink status. I've removed these from my startup and suspect that may have been the solution I wanted, but now I won't know, as I uninstalled the printer.

No, I removed it from the control panel and I removed the ink-alert shortcuts (two of them) that were in my startup group. After restarting my PC, I did not have the normal popup this time. I'm unsure if this is sufficient for all popups, but that's what I've had to do so far.
