Hi,
I have a HP Photosmart Plus B209 printer. My OS is Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit.
I tried to set-up wireless printing last night but no joy. The diagnstic report isn't picking up the Network SSID and the help asks me to logon to my router to check it, I don't know username and password so can't login to check this. Any ideas where I can find SSID?
Thanks.

Hi:
If you have a notebook or other PC connected by wireless, go to the network connections menu and you will see the SSID that it is connected to and you would enter the same one for the printer. You will also need to know the security password (the one you used to connect your laptop to the router).

I have an HP Officejet 7500a. I have lost contact with the modem, evidently. I've tried to use setup on the printer; it keeps asking for the SSID or IP number.
This has happened before and I always have to pay some HP support technition to get it back on line. Needless to say I am tired of it.
Why can't I just call HP somewhere and get help without having go go all around the world?
