macOS 12.0 Monterey

The printer screen shows D80774EC on blue.  Restarting lets the printer operate for a while, but then overnight the message comes up again.

I have unplugged, waited, and powered up again.  Still get message after printer works for a few hours.

Reinstalled ink cartridges.  Same effect.

So what do I do?   It is annoying to restart every day when I need to use the printer or scanner.

I understand you are receiving a "D80774EC" error.

 

We can perform factory defaults on the printer to resolve the issue but you will have to set up the printer and the service again.

  • The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may corrupt the device.
  • I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instructions to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
