Hello,

If you are connecting to Printer's Wireless Direct, try keying the password as 12345678

If it does not connect, then try the below steps..

  1. On the printer control panel, touch the Right Arrow to display the second navigation screen.
  2. Touch the Setup icon .
  3. Touch Network, touch Wireless Direct., Now scroll to select VIEW PASSWORD.

Hello Jabzi, Thank you for your reply. It did not allow me to sign in to my printer, it will not accept my PIN. My printer is hard wired to my Tower and Hub. Is wireless best? Regards Bryan

Hello,

Please try the below steps...

Open the Embedded Web Server by opening your browser and typing http://<printer ip address>

where <printer ip address> is your printers ip address e.g. http://192.168.1.10

Then goto Settings >> Security >>Access Control

Scroll to the bottom of the page to the section titled Printer User Accounts

Now add a user by adding : name, email, pin

e.g. ziggy, ziggy@home.me, 1234
