Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding an error message!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

The "Door open" error message on your HP Envy 6555e printer usually means that one of the printer's access doors is not properly closed. Here’s how you can fix it:

Check the Cartridge Access Door:

  • Lift and then firmly close the cartridge access door (usually located at the front or top of the printer).
  • Ensure it clicks into place properly.

Check the Paper Tray Door:

  • If your printer has a paper tray door, ensure it is fully closed.

Remove and Reinsert Ink Cartridges:

  • Open the cartridge access door and remove the ink cartridges.
  • Reinsert them properly and close the door securely.

Power Cycle the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
  • Wait for about 60 seconds before plugging it back in and turning it on.

Check for Obstructions:

  • Ensure no paper, debris, or foreign objects are blocking the doors or inside the printer.

Update Printer Firmware:

  • Go to HP Support and check for any available firmware updates for your printer model.

Reset the Printer:

  • With the printer turned on, unplug the power cord.
  • Wait 60 seconds, then reconnect the cord and turn it on.

If the issue persists after trying these steps, let me know, and I can guide you further!

We hope our assistance has been helpful!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
