How do we clear the configuration and NVRAM on the printer.
I am stuck on initializing and have already tried several suggestions such as holding down on button, copy/cancel, rught arrow cancel. None of these worked. How do I reset the NVRAM on my HP LaserJet 1217 printer?
I am about to give up and purchase another brand. pls help.

I understand you are facing an issue with your HP Color LaserJet Pro 1217. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.
We have to perform an NVRAM Reset to unlock the features of the printer/Reset the password.
The reset instructions are specific to your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.
I've sent you a private message with reset instructions, follow the reset instructions to perform a full reset and re-initialize the printer.
In order to access your private messages, click the private message icon on the upper right corner of your HP Community profile, next to your profile Name, or simply click on this link.
