I had vertically put the cards into the printer and had chosen "3 X 5 inches" and "photo paper", but a papersize mismatch error would always show up and I can't print anything at all. Does the printer support the type of cards( which was stated so in the supported size page)? If so, how do you correctly insert the cards and print on them?

Hi,

It looks like your printer is compatible with that paper size, see here:

Try checking printing settings on your Mac.

The document here indicates 3" x 5" Index cards ARE supported in the Envy 4520.

To avoid paper jams and other issues, make sure you are using the correct type and size of index cards or card stock when loading the input tray.

Load the media as shown on pages 8-9 of the user guide here. The media will need to loaded with the 3" wide side fed into the printer.  Be sure to select the proper media type (card stock) and paper size in the driver.
