Hi @BryleighnGogo

Welcome to the HP Support Community. To assist you better, I would like to know the following:

What size photo paper are you using?

Are you using Photos app or HP Smart app to print?

Have you tried printing different photos to check if the issue persists?

Keep me posted for further assistance.

I’ve only tried  4 x 6 as of now, since I didn’t keep wanting to waste paper by printing photos I’m gonna dislike. I’ve tried printing directly from my photos app AND from HP Smart App as well, issue remains. I’ve printed an estimated total of like 10-15 photos and they all  come out with white border. Even when I try to resize and move from HP Smart App, nothing seems to work and I can’t seem to find any borderless setting.

@BryleighnGogo, thank you for the information.

Which version of iOS are you using?

Make sure the right paper type and paper size are selected before printing.

Update the printer firmware

Click here to know different methods of updating printer firmware.

Also, check for updates on the iOS device

  • On HP Smart app, select the photo to be printed.
  • Click on print.
  • Just above the printer, you would see a grey horizontal line, by tapping which will give you options to make print settings.
  • Select paper type as Photo paper and paper size to be 4*6 paper.
  • Try printing.

Let me know how this goes.
