How to by-pass the ink cartridges error on my OfficeJet 7410 all in one ? I still need to scan

OfficeJet 7410 all in one
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Put in a new ink cartridge ( 96 ) one day worked fine all day next day turned it on got error "Remove and check cartridge on right" 96 the new cartridge. have tried all the cleaning tips. Need to get by this error so I can scan.

I understand you are not able to print/scan due to this error.

Insert the old ink cartridge if you still have it, and check if the error persists. By this, we can conclude if this is a defective ink cartridge.

 

Kindly perform the steps mentioned in this document - HP Printer Does not Print and Error Indicates Faulty Ink Cartridge

 

If the error persists, please reach out to the HP Technical Support team in your region regarding the replacement options for the defective ink cartridge. 

You may create a case on the website to obtain a case number if required. Kindly watch this video to know how.
