What you do depends on what is printing.

If you are seeing advertisements / printer-spam, you need to secure your network to prevent these people from using your printer.

Unwanted Flyers or Ads on the Printer

If the job that is printing is one that you recognize as having been submitted previously, that job may be stuck in the queue.

Consider:

Print Jobs Stuck in Print Queue (Windows)

Print Jobs Stuck in Print Queue (Mac)

Example

Print Queue / Service Reset

Stop print service, clear the print folder, Start print service

Control Panel > icon view > Administrative Tools > Services

Scroll down, find, Right-Click, and Stop Print Spooler Service

Open File Explorer (formally Windows Explorer)

Navigate to the folder and Delete files from C:\Windows\System32\spool\PRINTERS

Start Print Spooler Service
