Hello!
I changed my internet connection from simply using pocket wifi to router, and my printer is currently connected to the pocket wifi, I was wondering if there is a way to connect the printer to the new wifi router so that I do not have to disconnect my self from the internet and then connect to the wifi direct of the printer?

@Roman18, thanks for your response and time.
Kudos to you for trying out the steps.
Please try the steps recommended below.
Check your router settings to match these recommended settings:
1. Network name and password to have no spaces or punctuation.
2. If using WPA2 security, switch to WPA personal.
3. Dual broadcast Wireless b/g/n (printer may only connect to g).
4. Mac filter needs to be turned off.
5. Firewall settings need to be at there default settings, or set to a lower security.
6. Multicasting "on".
7. Following ports need to be un-blocked:
Incoming (UDP) ports : 137, 138, 161, 427
Outgoing (TCP) ports : 137, 139, 427, 9100, 9220, 9500
If you are unable to follow the steps, please contact your internet sevice provider and change the router settings.
Hope to hear from you soon!

Hey there! @Roman18, Thanks for stopping by HP forums!
I understand you have issues connecting your printer wirelessly.
Don't worry I will try to help you out.
Please try the steps recommended below.
Run wireless setup wizard on your PC and connect to the router.
The Wireless Setup Wizard, which you run from the printer's control panel. (Not available for printers without a touch display)
Make sure you know your network name and your security password (WEP, WPA, or WPA2).
On the printer's control panel, go to the Network menu or touch the wireless icon and then go to settings. Select Wireless Setup Wizard. The Wireless Setup Wizard displays a list of wireless networks in the area.
Note: Settings may be accessed by touching a wrench icon, depending on the product model.
Select your wireless network's name from the list.
If you don't see your wireless network listed, you can enter your network name manually by scrolling to the bottom of the list. If you enter the name manually it must be exact, including upper and lower case characters.
Enter your WEP key or WPA passphrase. You must enter the key or passphrase exactly, including upper and lower case characters. Your printer should connect to your wireless network. If it does not connect, you are given the opportunity to print a Wireless Network Test report that will help you find out what may be wrong.
Or try performing a network defaults on your printer and connect to the router.
Press the Wireless button ( ) and the Cancel button ( ) from the printer control panel at the same
time, and then hold them for three seconds.
Let me know if this works!
Have a beautiful day ahead! 🙂

I think the problem really is because of the router. I am not able to change any of the settings of the router. So I am thinking about buying another one and try it there.
Thank you so much!
