Thank you for responding,

It's great to have you back 😉

Only the network settings get's saved in the internal memory, and it's not gonna cause any harm.

None of your scanned documents, or the documents you printed, get's stored in there.

Hope this answered your question. 🙂

Keep me posted. 😉

@Anonymous

Welcome to HP Forums,

This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips,

Thank you for posting your query, I'll be more than glad to help you out 🙂

As I understand you are in need of support, in getting the factory reset for the printer,

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

Why would you like to perform a factory reset?

What seems to be the actual issue, which leads to you to factory reset?

Did you perform any troubleshooting steps before contacting us?

Any hardware or software changes?

Actually, Deskjet 2130 doesn't require  any special resets to be done for a factory reset. 🙂

Just,

  1. Turn off the printer.
  2. Unplug the power cord.
  3. Wait a minute, and then plug the power cord back in.
  4. Turn on the printer

Please reply with the details for further assistance.

Eager to help!

Thank you the reason is I wanr to erase the internal memory.

From the hp website it says “View printer specifications for Deskjet 1110 and 2130 printers including cartridges, print resolution, internal memory, paper and paper tray specifications, etc.”

So I guess it has internal memory?
