Hi @Jessa12,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding error code on your printer!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
The E1 error on an HP printer usually indicates a paper jam or paper feed issue. Here are some steps to fix it:
Check for Paper Jams
- Turn off the printer and unplug it.
- Open the paper tray and remove any stuck paper carefully.
- Open the rear access panel (if your model has one) and check for any jams inside.
- Close all panels securely.
Reload Paper Properly
- Remove all paper from the input tray.
- Fan out the stack of paper to avoid sticking.
- Load fresh, plain paper and adjust the guides properly.
Reset the Printer
- Turn off the printer and unplug it for 60 seconds.
- Plug it back in and turn it on.
Run HP Print and Scan Doctor
- Download HP Print and Scan Doctor from the HP website.
- Run it to detect and fix any issues automatically.
If the issue persists, let me know your printer model for specific troubleshooting! 😊
I'm glad I could help! 😊 If this resolved your issue, please mark it as "Accepted Solution" and click "Yes" on "Was this reply helpful?"—your feedback not only keeps us going but also helps others find the solution faster! 👍✨
