This question was already asked but wrongly answered by HP technician:

 

How do I load legal size paper 11x14 on HP OfficeJet 4650? The technician said that you can't and to look at printer specifications. Printer specifications for this printer,Supported paper sizes, indicates that the tray should take U.S. Legal: 216 x 356 mm (8.5 x 14 inches) paper: https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/HP-OfficeJet-4650-All-in-One-Printer-series/5447930/model/54479...).

 

An explanation of how would be useful, or must one purchase a different tray or attachment?

  • For legal size paper: Leave the input tray door open. A portion of the legal size paper sticks of the printer.
