I want to print addresses on the front of A1 envelopes (3 5/8" x 5 1/8") for wedding RSVP. I successfully changed the paper size in Word and print / page setup. When I try to load the envelopes (tray 1, manually), I get a paper jam error message. In fact, there is no jam, it seems the size is small and stays in the tray - doesn't go through printer. From tray 2, sideways loading prints in the wrong place and loading in the same direction as paper doesn't grab the envelope to print. HP specs say custom printing includes smaller (3" x 5") ... how do I feed the envelopes to print??

Are you printing long edge first or short edge first?
