Operating System: macOS 10.14 Mojave

I have an HP 8630 Officejet - about a month ago, I was able to find directions on how to print on card stock - and it worked.  However, now I can't find the instructions again.

@MerrileeHM, Welcome to HP Support Community!

 

You might try adjusting the Printing Preferences to tell the printer to expect the thicker paper.

 

Select anything that is available in the list for your printer that indicates a "thick" paper type:  Brochure matte or index card are both good choices.

 

Refer to the document HP Printers - Print Settings Guide (Mac) for additional help.
