Hi @Nabeel3724,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding error on your printer!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

The "0 rotating" issue in the HP Smart Tank 585 printer usually happens due to a printer initialization error or carriage movement issue. Try these steps to fix it:

Hard Reset the Printer

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from power.
  • Wait 5 minutes.
  • Plug it back in and turn it on.

Check for Paper Jams or Obstructions

  • Open the printer cover and check if the carriage (ink holder) is moving freely.
  • If it's stuck, gently move it left and right manually.
  • Remove any paper bits, dust, or obstacles inside.

Reinsert Ink Cartridges & Check Sensors

  • Open the ink compartment and remove all cartridges.
  • Clean the cartridge metal contacts with a lint-free cloth.
  • Reinsert them firmly and close the cover.

Update Printer Firmware

  • If your printer is connected to WiFi or a PC, update the firmware via the HP Smart App.
  • Download the latest firmware from the HP Support website.

Reset to Factory Settings

  • Press and hold the WiFi + Cancel buttons for 10-15 seconds.
  • Release them and wait for the printer to restart.

Let me know if this helped. 💙
