Hp 589 printer stops printing halfway and show e3 error. I did every possible method from cleaning to cartridge change but nothing happens. After 5 6 pages printing it shows e3 and  ! Starts blinking on screen.

It sounds like you're dealing with an E3 error on your HP Smart Tank 589 printer, and it's frustrating that the usual troubleshooting steps haven't resolved the issue. The E3 error on HP printers typically indicates a paper jam or a sensor issue. Since you've already checked for paper jams and replaced the cartridges, there are a few more things we can try.

 

Reset the Printer: Sometimes a simple reset can clear up internal issues.

  • Turn off the printer.
  • Unplug the power cord from the printer and the wall outlet.
  • Wait a few minutes (at least 30 seconds) to allow the printer to reset.
  • Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet and then into the printer.
  • Turn on the printer and see if the error persists.

Check Paper Path and Sensors: Even if you don't see a jam, there might be a small piece of paper stuck somewhere not easily visible. Follow these steps:

  • Remove all paper from the input tray and the output tray.
  • Open the printer cover and check for any jammed paper inside.
  • Use a flashlight to inspect the paper path thoroughly.
  • Check if there's any debris or foreign objects obstructing the sensors.

Clean Paper Feed Rollers: Dirty or worn-out rollers can cause paper feeding problems.

  • Open the printer cover.
  • Locate the paper feed rollers (they are rubber rollers behind the paper tray).
  • Use a lint-free cloth lightly moistened with water to clean the rollers.
  • Make sure they are dry before closing the cover and trying to print again.

Update Printer Firmware: Sometimes firmware updates can resolve known issues.

  • Go to the HP Support website and search for your printer model.
  • Download and install the latest firmware available for your printer.
  • Follow the instructions provided to update the firmware.

I tried cleaning also but not solved the problem. When I was doing printing, the feed roller sounds like jams. After 2 to 3 prints, feed roller doesn't taking paper or it stops on half of the paper, and suddenly it shows E3 ERROR and   ! Starts blinking in screen
