Can you please send me the hard reset instructions as well for the HP ENVY Photo 7858? We are stuck on the loading screen and have tried all the unplugging/plugging in, dissipate power, etc. The printer is less than 2 years old and no issues until now. Very frustrating with kids needing to print things for school projects.

I understand you are facing an issue with your HP Printer. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.
To assist better:
- May I have the exact model name of the product? Refer to this document for steps to find the product details. Do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc.
- We need to perform a Semi full reset to restore the printer back to its original settings.
- The reset instructions are specific for your printer and performing those steps on a different printer may brick the device.

Same printer, same issue. Under 2 years old but since out of warranty, not much help. Seems to be a known issue that HP just wiping their hands clean of and standing behind “out of warranty, sorry” play. Below is one response I got last week, informed them it didn’t work or change anything, and no other response. Maybe it works for you. I’m going to try and return to Costco, which I hate doing, but terrible for cost after just 2 years.
Note: Performing a reset will delete all settings on the printer.
1.) On the bottom left side of the printer control panel where the Return icon (↩️) displays, touch the area four (4) times. During this step, the Return icon is not illuminated.
2.) Touch Support Menu.
3.) Touch the right arrow, until you see "Reset" menu, and then press ok
4.)Select Semi-Full Reset and Touch OK.
5.)Wait for the unit to Power Down/Turn Off.
6.)Press the Power button to turn the Printer ON

Thanks, @DCAZ17, for sending the instructions.
I've tried it but nothing happens.
This "touch the area 4 times" does not make anything change nor does it show the Support Menu.
It's all Hocus Pocus...
Too bad HP can't even send me the instructions myself and keep sending these canned answers that they need the precise model number to send us a private message.
Could there be more than one HP Envy Photo 7858? The subject of this conversation already tells them the model number.
Horrible attention to customers when the warranty has expired.
