Any signs of life at all when you try to power up? First unplug the power, and with cord detached, hold the power button for about 30 seconds and then try to start up normally. Did that work? If not, try a different power cord, yes they can fail. Also ensure you are plugged directly into the wall and not into a surge protector or UPS.
