Hi @Jayu143,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

The error codes you're encountering with your HP Smart Tank 530 printer generally indicate specific issues with the printer's hardware or software. Here’s a step-by-step guide to help resolve these errors.

Error Code 0XC4EB8004

This error often relates to a problem with the printhead or ink system. Here’s how to address it:

Turn Off and On the Printer:

  • Power off the printer.
  • Unplug it from the power source for about 60 seconds.
  • Plug it back in and turn it on.

Check the Printhead:

  • Open the printer’s access door.
  • Remove the printhead and inspect it for any visible issues or obstructions.
  • Clean the printhead contacts gently with a lint-free cloth if necessary.
  • Reinsert the printhead properly.

Check Ink Cartridges:

  • Ensure that the ink cartridges are correctly installed and seated.
  • Check if any of the ink cartridges are empty or low on ink and replace them if needed.

Perform a Printer Reset:

  • Navigate to the printer’s control panel or settings menu.
  • Find the option for "Restore Defaults" or "Factory Reset" and perform the reset.

Error Code 0X89E60200

This error code often indicates an issue with the ink system or a hardware problem. To resolve it:

Power Cycle the Printer:

  • Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source for a few minutes.
  • Plug it back in and power it on.

Inspect Ink System:

  • Open the printer access door and ensure that all ink cartridges are installed correctly.
  • Remove and reinstall each ink cartridge, making sure they click into place.

Check for Paper Jams:

  • Inspect the printer for any paper jams or obstructions.
  • Remove any paper or debris that might be causing the issue.

Update Firmware:

  • Check for any available firmware updates for your printer on the HP website and install them if available.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
