Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP DeskJet 4155e has blinking lights and is not printing, follow these steps to troubleshoot
Identify the Blinking Lights Pattern
Different blinking light combinations indicate different issues.
- Power Light Blinking – Printer might be turning on/off or in an error state.
- Paper Light Blinking – No paper in the tray or a paper jam.
- Ink Light Blinking – Low or empty ink cartridges.
- Wi-Fi Light Blinking – Printer not connected to Wi-Fi.
- All Lights Blinking – Printer error (needs a reset).
Basic Troubleshooting
Check for Paper Issues:
- Make sure there's paper in the tray and it's properly aligned.
- Open the printer and remove any jammed paper.
Check Ink Cartridges:
- Open the cartridge door and ensure the ink cartridges are properly installed.
- If low or empty, replace the ink.
Restart the Printer:
- Turn off the printer, unplug it for 60 seconds, and plug it back in.
- Turn it back on and check if the lights stop blinking.
Check the Wi-Fi Connection (if printing wirelessly):
- If the Wi-Fi light is blinking, reconnect the printer to your network using the HP Smart app.
- Restart your router and printer.
Reset the Printer (if needed)
If the issue persists, try a factory reset:
- Turn off the printer.
- Press and hold the Wi-Fi and Cancel (X) buttons together.
- While holding the buttons, turn the printer on and keep holding for 10-15 seconds.
- Release the buttons when the printer lights start blinking.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
