Hp deskjet 3635 all in one printer
Android 9.0 Pie

I'm using Hp deskjet 3635 printer. During COVID 19 it remained unused for at least 6-7 months. Now when I have turned it back on it shows E4 Error which I understand indicates paper jam, but there's no paper or anything else inside the printer. The paper get through quickly without anything printed on it. The ink cartridge holder doesn't come in the center automatically when I open the front cover of printer. I have followed all the steps given on website to resolve E4 error but they don't work. Kindly let me know if there's a hardware issue. Which hardware should be replaced. Thanks

Hi @Saad94,

I'd like to help!

If you have already performed the steps from the document 'E4' Error Displays (Paper Jam) the issue persists, it could be a hardware failure.

Please reach out to HP Support in your region regarding the service options for your printer.

If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.

Hope this helps!
