This is a great location to get assistance! I read your post and see that you are getting error with printing message while printing on HP Deskjet 450 Printer. I would like to help you resolve this issue.
However, I will need a few details to provide an accurate solution,
How is the printer connected to the computer?
Which operating system is installed on the computer?
Meanwhile:
Reset the printer.
-
Turn on the printer.
-
Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
-
Disconnect the USB cable from the rear of the printer. If your printer has a network or wireless connection, leave it connected.
-
Remove the ink cartridges from the printer.
-
With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer and from the wall outlet or power strip.
-
Wait at least 60 seconds.
-
Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
-
Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
-
Turn on the printer,
Reply with the result of the above-mentioned steps, for further assistance.
Cheers.

This is the procedure I used to make Windows 10 work with my HP Deskjet 450 printer
Integration of Windows 10 to HP Deskjet 450
1. Connect the printer to a USB port and turn on the printer
2. Open Device Manager
3. Locate HP 450 (DOT4USB) under Universal Serial Bus Controllers
4. Right-click and click update driver software
5. Click Browse on my computer for drivers
6. Click Let me choose from a list of device drivers for my computer
7. Click Microsoft
8. Click USB Printing Support
9. Click Next
10. Click if the installation is complete to close
Open devices and printers
Search for HP 450 and open features of HP450 (not HP 450 (copy 1))
Click ports and choose USB 001 (is on Dot4xxx) where copy 1 already exists, click Apply and close
Open Features of HP450 (not HP 450 (copy 1)) again and choose ports, then select Dot4xxx and apply and close.
You now see 2 HP 450 printers, 1 with Copy 1 behind, in devices and printers.
Delete the HP 450 printer.
Open HP450 (copy 1) printer properties and change the name to HP 450
Click ports and check or change the port to USB 001 or 002 Virtual Printer Port, click Apply and Exit.
The printer should now work properly.
