Hi, my envy 6234 has 2 problems at the moment.
Started with error code 0xb8675646
Rebooting helps for a short time but everytime my wife and i try to print from android 12 samsung s10e phones the error comes arround.
Then the error was gone and started the problem that there is a cartridge error with the black one. Inserting it couple of times cleaned it but wont work. I have a instant ink subsribtion but it states i wont get a new one till the error is solved. Its not even half empty but dont use the printer that often so cartridges are older.
Anyone know a sollution for the error code and/or knows a way to get a new replacemend black cartridge from instant ink subsribtion?
Thanks for the trouble.

Hi @marcvane86,
Welcome to the HP Support Community
I understand you are getting an error code 0xb8675646 on your HP ENVY Photo 6234 All-In-One Printer. Not to worry I will help you to get a resolution to resolve the issue.
Please try the below steps:
Step 1: Power Drain
- With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer and also unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
- Remove USB cable, if present.
- Wait for 2-3 minutes, press and hold the power button on your printer for about 30 seconds to remove any additional charge.
- Now plug back the power cable straight to a wall outlet without any surge protector or an extension cord (This is important) and then plug back the power cord to the printer.
- Turn on the printer and wait till warm-up period finishes and the printer is idle.
Step 2: Update the printer firmware
- Click here to download and install the latest printer firmware from your product
- Click here to know different methods of updating printer firmware.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
