HP Deskjet 2700e

I am having a major issue with my printer, and I have spent about 2 1/2 hours on this now. I have unplugged it from the back, I have removed the cord, I have reset my Internet, I have turned off the printer and turned it back on, I had done hide this printer on the HP app, I’ve tried to reinstall the printer via the HP app. When I am getting the printer information page, it is saying that the printer is connected to my Wi-Fi, the IP address is correct, and the signal strength is very good and it Also states that the printer is connected to the Internet. However, it says the printer is not enrolled in HP instant Inc. I have watched videos on YouTube, I have reset my HP app several times, and nothing is working. On the actual HP app it is saying that it is not connected to the Internet, but your page is printing out that it is. The error message I am receiving is that it is not enrolled in HP instant ink. I get this issue every single time I get new ink delivered to my house,  Becoming a very tiresome ordeal. The pin number that has printing out on the printer information page works, however the actual pin inside my printer is saying it is incorrect. I don’t know what else to do. This is the only printer I have ever owned, it is saying I have an HP DeskJet 2755, which is incorrect. It’s a 2700.

Hi @Amanda-r,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like you're having a frustrating time with your HP DeskJet 2700e and HP Instant Ink. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue.

Check HP Instant Ink Enrollment:

  • Go to the HP Instant Ink website and log in to your account.
  • Verify if your printer is listed under your account. If it's not, you may need to add it manually.

Re-enroll Your Printer in HP Instant Ink:

  • From the HP Smart app or HP Instant Ink website, try removing the printer and then adding it back.
  • Follow the instructions to re-enroll the printer, making sure to enter the correct printer model and serial number.

Update Printer Firmware:

  • Ensure that your printer's firmware is up to date. You can check for updates through the HP Smart app or the HP website.

Check Internet Connection:

  • Although the printer indicates it’s connected to Wi-Fi, ensure there are no network issues affecting communication between your printer and HP servers.
  • Restart your router to rule out any temporary network issues.

Reset the Printer:

  • Perform a factory reset on the printer. Refer to your printer’s manual for instructions on how to do this.

Verify Printer Model:

  • Double-check the printer model number on the printer itself to ensure there’s no confusion with a different model number like the DeskJet 2755.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.

I have done all of this. I have spent 3 hours trying to do every possible solution. Then spent an hour and a half on the phone redoing everything I have already done. This was the only solution:
