Sorry for my errors. I guessed at the paper sizes. I should have stated sizes: hp invent premium inkjet papers sizes: 4x6 inches and 8.5x11 inches.
The printer prints documents in black and color on the large (8.5x11) plain sheets by hp. It prints photos in perfect black&white and colors.
If I want large photos and place hp photo paper in the printer it prints perfect 4x6 prints. So I removed the 4x6 paper and use only the 8.5x11 hp photo paper, the printer tells me that I am out of paper. It will not print large prints.
Thank you for your support!

Are you feeding the paper from the photo tray or the normal tray?
Feed the paper in the normal tray and make sure that the paper source is selected correctly.
