HP has sent me yet another scary security warning email for my printer. This one, the email, dated 7/16/20. It contains a link to this page
with this headline
HPSBPI03666 rev. 2 - Certain HP and Samsung-branded Print Products - Network Stack Potential Vulnerabilities
I can see my printer on the list of ones it applies to but in terms of what I'm supposed to do next . . . I've been working in software and web services for 30 years but this seems to be for some IT admin, not a general user like me. Can't tell what I'm supposed to do -- there's certainly no "download" button, and my seldom used printer is already out of warranty.
Any help will be appreciated.
My last printer, retired 2 years ago, was a Canon. With HP, it's way way more confusing and frequent update messages like this. Going back to Canon or anyone other than HP next time. This is too much for a simple personal printer.
