Hi @Alonilalo

Welcome to the HP support community.

I understand you're experiencing an issue with your HP device, and I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. I'm here to help you today.

Here’s a quick troubleshooting guide for your HP Smart Tank 5105 slow printing issue:

Clear Print Queue:

  • Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers, right-click your printer, and select See what's printing. Cancel any stuck print jobs.

Check Wi-Fi Connection:

  • Ensure your printer is connected to a strong Wi-Fi network. Test by printing a Network Configuration Page from the printer.

Update Drivers/Firmware:

  • Go to the HP website, download the latest drivers and firmware for your printer.

Check Print Settings:

  • Set print quality to Normal in the print dialog box to avoid slow, high-quality modes.

Test with USB Connection:

  • Try connecting the printer directly to your PC via USB to see if Wi-Fi is causing the issue.

Perform Soft Reset:

  • Turn off the printer, unplug it for 1 minute, then plug it back in and turn it on.

Disable Antivirus/Firewall Temporarily:

  • Disable your antivirus/firewall to see if they are causing delays.

I hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Please click “Accepted Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.
