I understand you are getting the "E710" error on the HP Officejet 6500A e-All-in-One typically indicates an internal hardware issue. 

Here's a step-by-step guide to troubleshoot:
 

Power Cycle:

  • Turn off the printer using the power button.
  • Unplug the power cord from the printer and the wall outlet.
  • Wait for about 30 seconds to 1 minute.
  • Plug the power cord back in and turn on the printer.

Check for Jams:

  • Open the access door where the print cartridges are located.
  • Gently check for and remove any paper jams or obstructions.

Inspect Cartridges:

  • Make sure the ink cartridges are properly installed and seated.
  • Remove and reseat the cartridges if necessary.

Reset the Printer:

  • If the error persists, perform a hard reset by following these steps:
    • Turn off the printer.
    • Disconnect the power cord from the back of the printer and the wall outlet.
    • Wait for 60 seconds.
    • Reconnect the power cord and turn the printer back on.

Firmware Update: Update the firmware on an HP printer

  • Ensure that the printer's firmware is up to date. Check HP's website for any available updates for your model.
