Hi @Biswajitdeb,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like you're experiencing a frustrating issue with your HP printer. When you're seeing an error message like "The indicated cartridges are not communicating correctly with the Printer," it can be due to a few different reasons. Here are some steps to try and resolve the issue.

Restart Printer

  • Turn off the printer, and unplug it from the power source.
  • Wait for about 2-3 minutes.
  • Plug the printer back in and turn it on.

Clean Cartridge Contacts

  • Remove the new cartridges from the printer.
  • Use a lint-free cloth lightly dampened with distilled water to gently clean the copper-colored contacts on the cartridges.
  • Also, clean the contacts inside the cartridge slot in the printer.
  • Let them dry completely before reinserting.

Reinstall Cartridges

  • Put the cartridges back into the printer, making sure they are securely seated.

Update Firmware

  • Sometimes, outdated firmware can cause cartridge communication errors.
  • Visit the HP website and search for your printer model.
  • Look for the latest firmware update for your printer and follow the instructions to update it.

Check for Tape or Packaging

  • Ensure there's no tape or packaging material left on the cartridges.
  • Sometimes new cartridges have protective tape or covers that need to be removed before installation.

Reset Printer

  • A reset can sometimes clear out errors.
  • Depending on your printer model, you can usually find the reset option in the settings menu.
  • Refer to your printer's manual for specific instructions on how to perform a reset.

These steps should help you troubleshoot the issue with your HP printer's cartridge communication error.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
