I am getting an error E7 in my hp printer smart tank 720

Thanks for posting your query! We're here to help you get back up and running.

 

 

An E7 error indicates that one or more ink tanks are out of ink.

 

Open the front door and ink tank cap.

Open the ink bottle, place it upside down on the tank, and click into place.

Wait for the ink to fill the tank.

Close the bottle cap, tank cap, and the front door.

 

If the issue persists, Update the firmware on an HP printer


HP regularly releases new firmware versions for printer enhancements, app updates, or issue fixes. Update the firmware regularly to get the most out of your printer.
