I am not able to print. When pressing the print button, it only asks me to save the document as a *.pmn but no print out. I tried everything, disconnected and reboot and in the system the printer shows up online. Please help since I am not able to print now for weeks and was not able to get support. Thanks

@Sube1, Welcome to HP Support Community,
Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue
Select the Correct Printer
When you try to print, make sure the HP OfficeJet 5230 is selected as the printer (not something like "Microsoft Print to PDF").
Reinstall Printer Driver
Uninstall the Printer: Go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers, right-click the printer, and click Remove Device.
Reinstall the Driver: Go to HP's Driver Download Page, download the latest driver for your printer, and install it.
Set as Default Printer
Go to Settings > Devices > Printers & Scanners and make sure the HP OfficeJet 5230 is the default printer.
Clear Printer Queue
In Devices and Printers, right-click the printer and click See what's printing. If there are any stuck print jobs, cancel them.
Print a Test Page
Right-click the printer in Devices and Printers and select Printer Properties, then click Print Test Page.
I hope this helps.
Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.
Take care and have a good day.

Hello Garp,
thanks a lot for the detailed information and help. I know the difference of Print to PDF but this was not the reason. To deinstall and reinstall the driver helped and now I am able to print again as usual.
Thanks again and all the best!
