I am not able to print in color from my mac with that hp smart tank 7600 series printer it does allow me to prin in color from my phone

If you can print in color from your phone but not from your Mac with your HP Smart Tank 7600 series printer, here are a few steps you can try.

 

Check Printer Settings on Mac:

  • Open the document you want to print.
  • Go to File > Print.
  • In the print dialog box, click on Show Details if the details aren't already visible.
  • Look for a Color Options or Color dropdown menu and make sure it is set to Color rather than Black & White or Grayscale.

Update Printer Drivers:

  • Visit the HP Support website and download the latest driver for your HP Smart Tank 7600 series printer for macOS.
  • Install the updated driver and restart your Mac.

Check Printer Preferences:

  • Go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners.
  • Select your HP Smart Tank 7600 series printer from the list on the left.
  • Click Options & Supplies, then go to the Driver tab.
  • Make sure the driver is up-to-date and configured correctly.

Re-add Printer:

  • Go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners.
  • Select your printer and click the minus sign (-) to remove it.
  • Add the printer again by clicking the plus sign (+) and follow the setup instructions.

Check Print Quality Settings:

  • Some print settings might override color options. Check the print quality settings within the print dialog to ensure it's not set to a draft or low-quality mode that could be affecting color printing.

Verify Printer Configuration:

  • Make sure that the color ink cartridges are properly installed and have enough ink. Even if color printing works from your phone, there could be a specific setting or issue affecting color output from the Mac.
